About POWER U

The mission of POWER U, sponsored by Fidelity Bank POWER, is to make high-level professional development programming accessible and affordable for female business owners throughout Southeast Louisiana. In partnership with Landry Training, POWER U aims to elevate women’s leadership potential as business owners and entrepreneurs while fostering collaboration with a group of established peers. After a successful first year, Fidelity Bank POWER is excited to welcome the next class of POWER U graduates.

This 6-month program is designed for high-achieving, motivated, and talented female business owners who are members of the Fidelity Bank POWER Program. The curriculum engages women from diverse industries and backgrounds, equipping them with tools and strategies to enhance their business success.

POWER U consists of eight in-person sessions featuring engaging workshops, peer mentoring, and focused business support. Facilitated by Candace S. Schrag, Director of Operations at Landry Training, each session includes educational discussions on leadership, business, and personal development.

Fidelity Bank recognizes the importance of investing in oneself to boost business success. Therefore, POWER U participation costs will be partially underwritten by Fidelity Bank POWER, making this high-level professional development program available and affordable to 10 applicants.

What you need to know

POWER U is ideal for female entrepreneurs who:

Are active members of the Fidelity Bank POWER Program
Have at least 50% ownership of a for-profit business in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State
Have been in business for at least two years
Are eager to enhance their professional skills and business acumen
Are ready to invest $950 in their professional development and expand their network
Can commit to attending eight in-person workshops from January 2026 to April 2026

Free ticket to the 2026 Power Up Women’s Leadership Conference in New Orleans

Fidelity Bank recognizes the importance of investing in oneself to boost business success. Therefore, POWER U participation costs will be partially underwritten for 10 select applicants by Fidelity Bank POWER. These applicants will be chosen by an internal selection committee consisting of Fidelity Bank and Landry Training staff.

If an applicant is chosen as one of the ten select applicants, their underwritten tuition cost will be as follows:

Total is $950 per participant, paid to Landry Training in two installments:

$475 upon selection into the program
$475 by no later than January 9, 2026

If an applicant is NOT chosen as one of the ten select applicants, their tuition cost will be as follows:

Total is $1, 450 per participant, paid to Landry Training in two installments:

$725 upon selection into the program
$725 by no later than January 9, 2026

Upon acceptance into the program, invoices will be sent to each applicant via email from Landry Training. Full payment is required by January 9, 2026, to participate in the sessions.

No more than 12 total applicants will be accepted.

POWER U includes eight in-person sessions over four months.

Attendance at all sessions is highly encouraged. Each session will follow Landry Training’s custom “EMPOWER” curriculum. Lunch will be provided at all sessions.

Program Commitment

The POWER U Selection Committee will choose no more than 12 POWER members based on their potential to grow and scale their businesses using the skills acquired in the program. Selection factors include diversity in race, ethnicity, industry, work experience, civic involvement, personal and professional accomplishments, and alignment with the Fidelity Bank POWER mission. Only 10 of the 12 selected POWER members will receive discounted tuition.

Upon acceptance, participants will receive an email invitation and must accept within five days by submitting the first payment and completing the registration materials.

To gain the full benefits of POWER U, participants are expected to attend all sessions and be punctual. More than one absence or late arrival may affect eligibility to attend the graduation and be featured in marketing materials. Please review the schedule carefully and plan accordingly.
