Tulane University’s Office of Alumni Relations hosts an annual women’s leadership conference, Women Making Waves, each spring during Women’s History Month. The goal of the program is to highlight the career successes of our alumnae to inspire and motivate women to seek leadership positions in the workplace and in their communities. The schedule includes a keynote speaker(s), panel discussions, and ample networking opportunities throughout the day. Participants often comment on how accessible and open the speakers are in sharing their experiences and many connections have been made during the conference that have developed into friendships, mentoring relationships, and business referrals.
