at the latest Knowledge is POWER event designed to support the growth and development of the Baton Rouge business community.

Help us welcome Larissa Millet to help teach us about Cyber Security Awareness to protect Small Businesses.

We are hosting this workshop to support our members’ interest in cyber security training to secure local state/parish contracts, avoid data hacks, and to prepare for our cybersecurity awareness month!

Details for this workshop will cover topics to support small businesses in rural areas, small businesses who may or may not be tech savvy, and training requirements for state/city level contracts.

Larissa Millet is an Information Systems Security Engineer at Stephenson Technologies Corporation that specializes in community outreach and the communication of cybersecurity concepts to increase public awareness.  In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Larissa also holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.  She has a total of nineteen years of experience in cybersecurity-relevant fields.  Areas of expertise include communications security, data security, digital forensics, incident response, risk management, training/awareness, and cybersecurity regulatory compliance.  In her free time, she enjoys tennis, fishing and spending time with her niece and nephew!
