Loyola University New Orleans through the Office of Professional and Continuing Studies (PACS) is hosting its 2nd annual International Women’s Day event, which will be held on March 7th, 8:30AM – 10:30AM, on Loyola’s uptown campus. International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.
The event will feature guest speaker, Alla Rosca, Ph.D., World Affairs Council of New Orleans (WACNO), President and Associate Researcher, Edgewater Research. Dr. Rosca will give a global perspective on International Women’s Day. There will also be a panel on the topic “Inspiring Inclusion” presented by Northwestern Mutual. Panelists include Dr. Sheryl Kennedy Haydel, Ph.D., APR, Annie Juttner, CSP, Anjea Vindel, and Jenna Pelligrin, with moderator Avril Habetz.
Loyola University New Orleans is stepping up to provide an event to celebrate and connect women in the community and to highlight the wonderful work that Loyola University New Orleans is doing to elevate women. PACS is celebrating its 6th Cohort of the highly successful Women’s Leadership Academy as well as the 2nd cohort of the Young Women’s Leadership Academy.
