Hannah’s Klozét Foundation Incorporated (HK), mission is to serve as the ‘closet’ that provides practical non-clinical environment emotional support, supportive amenities, holistic coaching, and educational services for those living with cancer and particularly those with breast cancer. HK Foundation serves those living with cancer, those who have survived cancer and their families. Particularly people of low-income to moderate-income households residing in rural and urban areas of Southeastern Louisiana.
One of HK Foundation’s desires is to see an increase in screening for cancer and a reduction in cancer mortality rates in rural communities. We believe that our contribution to achieving that goal is through outreach, raising awareness, education, connecting people to available resources coupled with early screening and genetic testing.
